Original Essence
Our Original Essence is the true presence of our energy before conditioning and societal rules broke the freedom of our belonging to the great mystery of life.
When we attune to our Original Essence, the spark of inspiration shows us how we can contribute to the divinity of life. We receive direct access to our unique overflowing source spring of creativity.
The Intention
This program is designed for folks who feel their Original Essence wants to be expressed and would like to cultivate their gifts with the guidance of Deborah’s approachable depth of wisdom.
Deborah’s background of 20+ years of emerging as one of the most world renowned trusted healers, as well as her innate intuitive gifts of seeing, will be wielded to help you move through love, place, work, and all aspects of life, from your Original Essence.
Even if you wouldn’t necessarily call yourself a “healer,” Apprentice of Original Essence is great for anyone who wants to study with and create from their own unique wisdom. A great experience for when you are at a crossroads in life and/or are ready to be in the fullest expression of your own divinity.
Much healing will be done together on this journey that will create a spiral of healing in the world. Deborah cannot teach you how to see like she sees or heal like she heals, but she can draw out your own visioning and your own healing to help you bring your Original Essence to light in the highest good for all involved.
The Journey
Apprentice of Original Essence is an online Advanced Apprenticeship Program with Deborah that offers a combination of 1:1 and intimate group work.
This round of Apprentice of Original Essence is going to be strongly focused on ceremony. We’ll be working with Medicine Reading Ceremony, as well as looking how everything we do in life – from the most mundane, arduous task, to the biggest expressions of being seen – can be a ceremony.
Guided Group Sessions
Throughout 19 weeks, Deborah will guide live group discourse. While the group you are a part of will determine the session topics, they typically include modalities, tools, and exercises to strengthen your intuitive senses and commune with the natural world to bring healing and balance.

The Apprenticeship includes TEN 1:1 Medicine Readings with Deborah where you can ask her guidance on anything — from the nature of reality, to how to price an offering. Private sessions conclude with custom homework to support your unique path and a custom ceremony.

I often see emerging healers rush to formulate an offering by asking others what they should be doing or trying to pour themselves into the molds of what already exists.
The thing is, urgency can create limitations. In fact, the word “healer” can be limiting because of the image we associate with that word. But anything and everything we do can be healing!
Apprentices of Original Essence I work with often discover something boundless that wants to be expressed as a healing offering but may not necessarily fit into the familiar healer box. This discovery isn’t made through force but rather by clearing yourself so the path may find you.
And that’s the secret to a successful, steadfast healing path, folks; the offering that is truly yours will come to you. All you need to do is clear the way, have the patience to let it come, the presence to listen to what it wants to be, and the perseverance to anchor it earthside. In Apprentice of Original Essence, I’m not telling you what to do or be, but I will help you and guide you through my decades of experience and ability to see the spectrums of light and depth that you are.

Deborah Hanekamp is a world-renowned writer, seer, and mystic with a career spanning over 25 years in the healing arts.
Deborah’s biggest gift is being able to see people for all that they are and holding a nurturing mirror up to the places where balance can create joy in life. She compassionately puts words to what sits in the shadows, introducing it to the light that resonates through her clients’ souls for years to come. Because she is dedicated to the highest good of those she sees, her guidance can be tough or gentle, the Mama, but she comes from a place of love, the Medicine. In her free time, Deborah can be found sipping tea with hands full of soil, paintbrushes, and family.
The Apprenticeship
In this 19-week online program, Deborah creates a custom week-by-week discourse. The content included is curated to each unique group and will go much deeper into each topic than Deborah has ever covered before.

You will be personally emailed and sent an invoice upon acceptance to the apprenticeship. Give us a few weeks to get back to you.

Payments are accepted via wire transfer and can be broken up into four parts as long as the final payment is completed by November 17, 2026.
The final payment must be completely transferred by the due date. There will be no exceptions or negotiations given. By agreeing you are accepting the responsibility to coordinate payments accordingly to allow for any transfer time. -
No, the $50 application fee will not be returned under any circumstances. However, if you are accepted, we will deduct the $50 fee from your tuition.
